by Glenn Fiedler on March 26, 2013

My talk is finished and I’m very relieved and proud.

The slides are available in PDF and Keynote.

Please note that my presentation style is completely visual + ad-lib so there are no slide notes.

For details, please refer to the article series supporting the talk.

Thanks again and see you at GDC 2014!

I’ve been following your blog for quite a while and had great use of your previous physics tutorials. I’m also a Go player and was quite surprised that you shared the same interest and decided to do a physics series based on this game.

I have a question that is not really related to this though… what kind of editor do you use for your coding pictures in the slides for this Virtual Go Talk? I liked the color theme and the smooth edged text and was wondering if this is from an actual editor or just an created image.

I hope you will continue to post tutorials and blog posts, I’m sure many enjoys them! :)

I draw on paper then scan in the background. In keynote I mask out alpha to remove the paper background. This gives the watercolor look to the diagrams. Vector graphics on top is mostly done in keynote, with some more complex vector art in illustrator — cheers
