Big News Times Two!

by Glenn Fiedler on September 12, 2008

First up, yesterday I resigned from Pandemic Studios and accepted an offer at Sony Santa Monica (God of War team).

Even better, last night I got engaged to my sweetheart Chantel.

Right now I’m down in Encinitas, San Diego chilling out and sipping a coffee while I get ready for a lunch meetup with some local game devs, and let me tell you something…

Life sure is good!

Congratulations x 2! That’s awesome news.

We’ll miss you at Pandemic. But this gives me an excuse to pop down to Santa Monica next time I’m in LA.

Congratulations, Glenn!

I’ve been following your work for a while now and adapting your netcode techniques for use with flash/actionscript.

It’s nice to know you’ve got time for a personal life – there’s hope for me yet! haha – best of british luck to ya! :)

Congratulations on getting engaged. I’m sure married life will offer you plenty of opportunities for your area of expertise: “authority management.” :-)

yeah in this case it looks more like a traditional client/server model – no cheating allowed! ;)

So are you trying to tell me that God of War 3 is multiplayer? Now if we can only get the thing on the Xbox everything would be great.
