Mercs2 COOP – Its literally done!

Here is some cool Mercs2 E3 coverage made with a near-final build:

So now you can see what I’ve been working on for the past 2.5 years…

Yep.

Everything you just saw in those videos works in COOP

All mission content can be played in COOP, your buddy can jump in your game at any time and play with you!

Not only that, but it plays sweet and lag free over the internet

Check out what one of our designers said after trying the game out under worst case conditions (64kbit/sec, 10% packet loss, 250ms latency…)

“I have to be honest guys, the game ran so incredibly well with the low-bandwidth setting, I was almost skeptical about whether or not our bandwidth was in fact being restricted by whatever .ini or modem settings we were using.”

Mercs2 will be on shelves 31st of August in the USA!

Wow, that’s *really* impressive! It looks very fun, too. I’ll definitely have to check this game out!

On a side note, should I expect to see more tutorials/guides/references from you, now when the game’s almost complete? I’d love to read some more of them! :-)

The game is looking fantastic. I can’t wait to try out the networked physics I have been reading up on so much lately.

Looking forward to more articles from you… :)
