Welcome to gaffer 2.0.
I’m Glenn Fiedler, a game developer working in Sydney, Australia.
I’m currently working at Team Bondi as Senior Gameplay Programmer on “L.A. Noire”. Before this I shipped “Freedom Force” and “Tribes: Vengeance” at Irrational Games, and somehow managed to get game credits for doing virtually nothing on “SWAT 4″. I got started in this industry back in 1998 working as a 3D programmer for Auran shortly after they shipped “Dark Reign”.
This is my weblog and it exists to share my thoughts, articles and software with others.
On this site you’ll find articles about game physics and networking, source code for toy projects I do in my spare time, plus reporting on game industry events such as AGDC, E3 etc.
So stay tuned as I update this site with all the old content from “Gaffer on Games”, and upload new content as Team Bondi attends AGDC 2005.
cheers all

Hi Glenn,
I found your site while looking for game physics tutorials. I’m an fledgeling amateur game developer. I’ve only just started, in the last few days, using your first tut. “Basic Physics” to learn how to write my own physics support.
I do this at work (hehe… work is totally non-game related) and have just, this weekend, got some time at home to put some more time into it. I had just seat down to del.icio.us your site (so I dont’ forget it) when to my delight I discover your in Sydney, like myself.
Anyway, I love your site and keep up the good tutorials. I’ll be working my way through them in the next few weeks. Hope you keep ‘em coming.
